Hi everyone
Our new Hymer PVC on Fiat Ducato came without a spare wheel.
Has anyone fitted one?
Attached are pictures of the chassis at rear showing cross member where I think it might be placed.

I bought a spare wheel & tyre from ebay and a carrier from Camperuk. Cost me £200 all in. Not used the carrier as the wheel is in the garage , but have the option.
Carrier came with10mm screws for mounting, but holes are 8mm..

Have a look at my pictures. Total cost was £206 for a new winder and new steel wheel with a CP tyre. Looks identical and is a simple diy fit.

That looks a good arrangement. I see you have a cover on wheel to protect it too.
Do you mind me asking where you bought it from?

I bought my wheel cover from fleabay. Looked like the photo till I drove in rain and it filled with water resembling Nora Battys leggins. Had to cut a drain hole in the middle but my spare is located forward of the rear axle on a DIY mount. OttovanKamper You need 4 hexagonal (For 10mm bolts I believe) rivnuts to attach the winder gearbox.

Here you go as said put a hole in the middle to allow air/water to escape.
