Hi all, we have a 2019 Burstner IEXO 736 on a Fiat Heavy Chassis. (Not Alko) just want to get the correct spare wheel carrier.
The frame has 4 x 8mm female holes in the crossmember running on 225/75/R16 tyres alloy on the van steel spare. Not worried about being able to carry the alloy underneath but if possible great suggestions please.

I think the Fiat standard carrier changes, depending on whether you have 118mm or 130mm PCD wheels (I think you'll have 130?).

Also, when you buy the kit, make sure you have the 5 sided security winding tool.

Few years now
I ordered one through a Fiat Dealer having asked if the all the fixings included in my kit would fit my chassis. They didnt and I had to order the mounting screws separately. The screws for winding mechanism were also the wrong size.
If Id bought from ebay it would have been half the cost, but thought ordering through a dealer would have ensured all the bits were correct.

The one i purchased, which was under 100 quid, had some bolts which fitted fine, but i had to get a few more from diy store. Great that all the holes were pre threaded in the chassis.

A really easy install though, added some loctite to the threads for additional peace of mind.

Good advice regarding the security winder, you may also find an extension bar make it easier to raise and lower the wheel.

For the winder point, I put long bolts all the way through the folded u-shape of the chassis, there are holes on both sides. I used nylock nuts to secure it. You can't do it up tight or you just crush the chassis! Rivnuts are probably a better solution. But it's not a load bearing fixing, so it shouldn't do any harm.
