Spare wheel carrier 16” wheels

This is mine on the heavy chassis. Simple easy diy fit.
First picture is the wheel and winch on the light chassis then second is where it fits on the heavy.
It fitted fine just had to make a block to support the wheel resting on the underside of the floor.

If you have alloy wheels, you will also need the adaptor plate and 3 special bolts to mount an alloy wheel in the carrier.

Yes they were included although the winch tool was in my jack tool box.
What does the winch tool look like please ?

I'm probably just going to buy a steel wheel & tyre, rather than another alloy, but thanks for the info (y)

You will need it if you want to put the flat alloy in the carrier.

This is the winch tool and where it fits onto the winder. I use a ratchet to wind it down.
Re the kit needed to fit the alloy wheel I didn’t bother I would put it inside and get a new tyre fitted then replace the steel spare back into the carrier.
The last pic is the wheel fitted with a cover to keep it clean and dry.
