I recently changed tyres all round and went a profile up from 65 to 75 on the side wall which a few owners have done on these older Ivecos for extra comfort and also due to feeling quite short geared. Interestingly Iveco done the same on later models.
When changing all 6 tyres, I asked the Tyre place to stick a budget on the spare in the garage. They advised this was not necessary despite the change in overall diameter and said my current one would do me in a spare/emergency situation.
Tyres fitted are 195x75x16
Spare is 195x65x16
I’m twin axled at the rear and thinking if it was one of those I replaced, the spare would barely touch the ground?
Has anyone else ever had a different profile on their spare?

The crappy skinny space saver spares on cars are often used across different diameter wheels and they cope ok to get you home.

My spare is a different size to my others. Only thing I would be concerned about is if doing a few miles with it as a front tyre (front wheel drive) then I would swap it to a non drive wheel. ( rear in my case)
