Ours were on within 24hrs,but they were done at our surgery rather than a drop in.

This started in the summer for some Spanish regions....it's likely to be part of the Covid procedures visitors will need to get used to.
Photo card/Passport should be carried by everyone....the Spanish Police like to know who you are...Covid Passport, ID.
Not a lot to ask, always wear a mask..

As do ours.
Spoke to friends that live in Almoradi yesterday. They were not allowed into a restaurant a couple of days ago because of paperwork protocols.
Looks like Spain is cracking down.

Applies to any restaurant in Communidad Valenciana with more than 50 seats inside. Police are regularly checking everyone in the restaurants, with a 40,000 euro fine for the restaurant if anyone is found without vaccine certificate and photo ID.

The restaurant we visited last night said they had already been checked by the police.

Some people arrived whilst we were there getting angry because not all of the groups/couples had photo ID.

One lone Dutchman argued for 20 mins or more. Insisting he should not have to show documents or ID. Even suggesting he would sit outside. In the end he was asked to leave.

Sitting outside is legal without the docs, but you are not allowed into the restaurant at all, even to use the toilet.
Don´t know what it is with the Dutch, they just seem to have a thing againt following rules.
