I asked a while back if anyone uses turmeric for arthritis and someone on here said that they buy Spanish stuff ( gold turmeric) but I’ve searched and can’t find it anymore?

Turmeric and black pepper (curcuma and piper nigrum) is the usual best seller
Gold is just advertising waffle, same as calling black pepper piperine 👍

I've used high strength turmeric with black pepper (the latter appears to be the important bit, as it activates the goodness) for my aural inflammation...whether coincidence or not, it appears to have helped it a lot
I get mine from either Holland & Barret or Boots

I was sceptical about the benefits of turmeric, it supposedly helps with a huge array of conditions. After what I assumed to be an arthritic flare up with painful and clicking joints, I started taking turmeric with black pepper, which is added to help absorption.
It takes 2-4 weeks to see any benefits. I started off with the recommended dose but reduced to one capsule after 4 weeks.
I believe that turmeric has definitely helped as my joints are no longer painful. I had tried turmeric previously but only gave it a week as I didn’t notice any difference, not realising that it doesn’t work immediately.
I always take it with food now, otherwise I do get indigestion.

Used turmeric daily for 2 weeks after forgetting gout medication on a USA holiday, luckily I didn't have a flare up. I took it stirred into warm water 🤢 this was about 20 years ago and I still remember the daily ritual and taste.

I did try Turmeric & Black Pepper took it for over a month and it seemed to work a bit but I was still getting quite a bit of pain.
Now taking Seven Seas Joint Care Max and that’s working a treat!

I was taking Turmeric with black pepper for about three years or more because of arthritis in my ankle.

I had to stop in November last year because they weren't compatible with the blood thinning pills I started taking.

I haven't noticed any change in my ankle though... (still a bit uncomfortable).

Some years back I had a cough that would not go away. Antibiotics from doc did no good. My wife’s niece a former medic suggested a teaspoon of turmeric in hot water might help. It did. Cough cleared up in less than a week. I added a teaspoon of honey to make the drink more palatable.

I use turmeric/ginger and black pepper as occasionally I suffer from gout in my right foot big toe.

I googled it when on holiday in Florida and bought 2000mg capsules from Walgreens. I could hardly walk and it cleared it in less than two days.... I buy off Amazon now as it is way cheaper than the chemists and Superdrug. The current caps are 1500mg per capsule
