Spanish motorhomers protest today with more than 600 motorhomes attended, they are protesting about their rights to park the same as cars and not be forced to using campsites and camperstops. 🙂 👍
Something to think about, if you want to park but like to P everyone off and camp. 🤔 Bob

Not that I know of BUT we would be instantly demonised by the press and the Police would suddenly find enough staff to stop us and find some old law to fine us under
Surely not….?!;)

At the end of the day who wants to Park up in a car park, in a parking bay or somewhere similar...we don't......but some do I suppose, we prefer wide open spaces, where we don't interfere with anyone, but I suppose this protest is for those who want to park near a beach, or similar location. I understand the current rules which are being amended, taking away the right to park a motorhome in a space that is legally accepted, for a car, and not treat a motorhome any differently, but we all know they are so, so, different...a VW Camper, perhaps, but a 7m Hymer....come on....we will see.....just my spin on this, no harm intended to a dear friend living locally who might have a different view on this.

Yesterday, we saw 3 PVC size vans parked up overnight in the streets of Albir. I don’t know if they were being slept in or if they were staying in apartments 🤷‍♂️.

But when we visited lech & Zürs in Austria in our la Strada Nova M (see photo). We were told to leave the area or face a €700 fine. There were 3 Austrian registered PVC’s in the car park where we were ordered to leave. But I wasn’t going to start arguing.

If the authorities back down on restrictions in Car Parks where they are easier to police, then thy are not likely to enforce rules in the wider countryside which may suit you and others of us.

On your point about size, of course it would be unreasonable for a MH to cause an obstruction, but that is a different point from infringing a 'No Motorhome' rule.

How do you like your La Strada? My wife and I are contemplating selling up and having 3 years on the road around Europe, the Nova is one of the vans that has caught my attention.
