Spain weather updates

Thought I’d do this thread for those that are going along the coast or coming back up it, I know a few who are going to be along there in the next few weeks Northernraider and myself included…

The next few days look unsettled in a few places but it’s looking ok for a weeks time, I should be in the bay of roses or further on by then chasing the sun working my way down along the coast…

Traffic updates would also be helpful on places that have been affected by the weather especially Valencia as people will want to know how to get around the effected towns..

Hopefully this thread will cover the whole of the winter period…

The rain reached us this evening ,(about 20 miles inland from Alicante) it's turned cold and I am led to believe it will hang around for the next few days.

Yes, it’s this week that’s not good but it gets better next week …

Red sky at night, doesn't mean the same in Spain, I think.

15 minutes ago at our parking in Castilla la Mancha.

The most dangerous areas at the moment are Málaga and Tarragona.
We had the alert on the phone yesterday here in Tarragona also, and we have restricted mobility today again
Keep an eye on the AEMET webpage and be very cautious around those areas.
Red alerts are very rare and must be seriously considered.

I've posted this on jumartoo thread and thought it wise to duplicate on here...this and what's happening where Peavy has advised, may bring home to everyone, the seriousness of how the weather is effecting Iberia.
