hi/ with it being only 90 days in Europe has anyone tried to extend it with a visa so as to stay the winter in Spain or Portugal . Pete

I believe currently application only possible as a tourist with extenuating circumstances, such as illness or injury.
I would like to be wrong if any funsters know how it can be done.

There really is only one the “non lucrative visa” that takes account of your assets and income but it’s really only a precursor to applying for Residencia. It’s not for use as an extended stay.

Matters in regard to extended stays are in hand and there is no doubt that something will happen in the not too distant future.
