think i might have left it to late to book Spain for the coming winter, every site i tried in Benidorm ,,bonterra all seem to be full ,,new house move stopped me arranging it earlier ,,is there any where some funsters would recommend that might have space ,,i like a town ,supermarket beach , within walking distance if possible

We went last winter and have booked tunnel for next. Didn't book anywhere just phoned or emailed ahead and got into enough sites for a couple of days to do washing etc. Loads of Aires and beaches available, police don't bother as there are loads of vans there. You can pay a few euro to use site services when needed.

We also went this last January/February. Didn't book anywhere until we got past the border. Had no issues finding places but none were overlooking the sea (not an issue to us) and none were big sites with lots going on (again, not what we're about anyway)

We found the popular coastal sites very busy last year - though we did manage a few days here and there. Quieter inland. We spent a week or so at Alania resort which is a huge site with a range of facilities. There’s a town nearby and good cycling. There was always space but it’s not to everyone’s taste. The CMC run a rally there each winter.

CAMC rally at La Manga was 14.5 euros a night last year for longer stays which includes EHU
dates haven't been released yet for 2025 but it usually around the end of June
Site not everyone's choice but pitches are not cramped and all fully serviced
beach and site restaurant at the bottom of the site .
