Looks like face masks will become compulsory out doors in Spain very soon according to the Presdent. BUSBY.

no probs for me had to wear one for six months on last trip. it became the norm with no issues, for me anyway.
Only here till mid March this year:xsad:.
Wear it and stay safe.

Cheers Cris.

Everyone in our local town has continued wearing masks even though it's not been compulsory. No difference to us here.

I was quite hoping for a late night curfew. It makes for peaceful sleeping 😂

So all over the world people are wearing masks , has this stopped people getting infected? The answer is no, in the first months the government was very clear that wearing a mask was not of benefit to control COVID , they then changed this advice, do I think that it helps at all? Yes when indoors or outdoors in really crowded areas, do I think it makes sense to wear one outside when there is no one even near you? Absolutely not, it is completely nuts .
What I would really like to know how healthy it is to breath through a mask ( often of very questionable quality.
I now get my coat so the mask wearing fans can get started.😎👀

I view wearing cheap single fabric masks as a metaphor for respecting others and a cautionary act which, I agree, means more as a symbol, than any scientific benefit. This small sacrifice is a message to others that we value their health. In other countries mask wearing preceded COVID.

yes before Friday at the latest ubt as Judith said no one here has stopped in reality because when out in most places you will always be within 1,5 of someone else & to enter any premises a mask is obligatory.

But wearing masks here allowed the children to attend school for the full year last year with out any problems.?

When all this started Spain was very strict, in our area like lots of places we have several generations of families that never travel that far, and they would soon tell people to get their mask on. 🙂
All though this we carry one to wear and one for spare, we also carry our own sanitizer and have a squirt after leaving a table or any other public seating area, our shops and bars still have sanitiser to use, think back a bit about the gloating about the UK has all the vaccine and were far ahead, in this area the majority are fully jabbed in the last couple of weeks they have been going round the schools doing 5 to 11 years not much is said they just get on with it. 😁

I remember our first trip back to to UK, staying with friends in Diss and walking round the town with our masks on, only a handful of older generation wearing them, going into Asda having to ask for sanitiser, when the UK went into lockdown it was nothing like ours, and while people think this doesn't work and that doesn't work things will never improve.
