planning one…
Hello
I’m very new to this, going to fit a new micro switch to kitchen tap.
It will also need me to add some spade connectors at the end.
12v planet etc seem to have loads…but which is the right size?
Here are some pics/measurements of the old spade. Wire appears to be 0.5mm.

The gap in the middle appears to be 2.3/2.4mm
Just not sure what the measurement 12v planet refer to.

You don’t need to worry about that dimension, the small ones are usually used on speakers, also depends what sort of crimped you have got.
I would just get these

Dammit, I thought this was going to be about gardening, where I have some expertise. But no,it’s about leccie………where I have none. :ROFLMAO:
Me too I was going to say I have a short GRP handle one I carry in the motorhome.

The one in your photo is a standard ¼" (6.35mm) push-on connector.
They are sized by the male blade.

The standard spade terminal is 6.35mm, ie 1/4 inch in imperial measure. That's the size of the male blade that fits in the connector in your picture.

The other types are 4.8mm (= 3/16 inch) and 2.8mm (= 7/64 inch). But it's the blade width that defines the size.

Edit: as Lenny HB says, he types quicker.
