Southsea portsmouth sail gp

We are looking at the sail gp off castle field portsmouth 19/20 july - trying to finf somewhere to park 2 nights - been to fishery creek but looking to stay without several buses or 80 quid taxis - any hints would be much appreciated

You could try wild camping on Ferry Road at Eastney. About 2.5 miles to Southsea castle from there. Given the lack of wind locally lately, it's likely to be marginally less spectacular than watching paint dry.

Port Solent car park is free. Plenty of buses run into the city.
