Southern Norway and Sweden - First trip

We are off to Southern Norway first and then Southern Sweden for probably 3/4 weeks in May this year. Travelling up through Denmark and then return to Germany to continue down through the Romantic Road and Italy (3 month trip altogether) As we've never been to Norway/Sweden any tips, routes, .just see etc ?? Thanks

Just to start you off, look at the one below that started off quite similar to yours. Your itinerary may be slightly different, but embedded in all the comments will be a lot of useful advice that should focus your searches.
