Southern Ireland....can I receive main channels (BBC/ITV, etc) via my rooftop 'Status' aerial aerial

Sothern Ireland is NOT the UK, and so the UK broadcasters do not have to transmit there.
I doubt you will be able to pick up any terrestrial signals from the UK, only the irish channels

You won't need the tv, they have really good Guinness, Whiskey and social interaction there!
