I have an Avtex Pro tv which is great apart from the sound quality with vibrating speakers.
Does anyone use a 12v soundbar if so any recommendations. I know Avtex do one but being that they can’t get the sound quality right on the tv’s I won’t be going for their soundbar

I have a Bose SoundLink Mini II which I pair with our Avtex tv made a big difference.

We have avtex one and its very good. TBH most tv sound is crap especially on small screens.

I have Avtex sound bar I find it pretty good also fits on bottom of TV plugging power take of from TV so quite neat

My Avtex soundbar is great, much clearer and deeper sound than the 24" TV's speakers.

Bit annoying that the soundbar needs it's own power source, no where to take power from the TV itself, adding to leads and needing a splitter on the 12V cigarette socket point. But if it was on the TV's supply then the separate bluetooth wouldn't work which I often use for streaming digital radio.

Can be a pain that the sound doesn't always work despite the ARC setting, when I'm using the Firestick via HDMI. A weird one that often is reset by selecting the TV source as the standard aerial channel, hearing sound, and then changing source back to the HDMI.

Us too for the Avtex sound bar! We have both avtex tv’s each with its own soundbar. Also very good for streaming music from your phone through👍👍

Positive comments on the Avtex soundbar seems like that is what I need then

We also have the Avtex Soundbar and are happy with the sound from it. It’s also a nice compact size.

I have been looking at this very model for a few days now and have just ordered it 😁

Is there a standard connection for these things? If they're not fixed to the TV they don't really work, you might as well have separate speakers.
