08th November (Sat) North Petherton

10th November (Mon) Burnham-on-Sea / Highbridge

Perhaps someone could hold a rally

Yes, they are fantastic. We're going again to the Wells carnival this weekend, in the new van.

a bit late now , but motorhometoday forum ran a rally in the centre of bridgwater and it was a great weekend. why not look out for next year.

safe travel

Looks like we're not going after all; the site we were booked in to is waterlogged, and they don't have enough hard-standings. All the others in the area are in the same situation, it seems.

Hi

If you are members CC or CCC look at their rally Venues. I was a rally officer in the area some years back and we often held (Carnival) rally`s On School sites, Village halls, and even more than once on a Cattle market!!. etc (hardstanding) (no electric, but for a Weekend??. the various centres/D A`s do still run them. If you find one ring the Hon Rally Sec;. they will either Know if their is room or will but you onto the rally organiser, don`t be shy they can be fun, we enjoyed many years with the Somerset and Dorset Centres, before retiring back to yorkshire.

Thanks for the suggestion; there is a CC rally for the carnival, but they've been full for a month.

That looks interesting, but a bit too far, but thanks for that suggestion.

The good news is that the site can squeeze us in after all, so just about to set off for our weekend. :thumb:

We will be in Glastonbury tomorrow for the carnival, based on reports from friends who have been over the last few days it is going to be one of the best yet.

Anyone else going to be there?

Tina
