some nice touches

Some really interesting innovations. With Chinese prices on goods generally very competitive, I feel that European builders may need a competitive upgrade or in time become under pressure from the east.

Or the cheaper european vehicles will get even flimsier to try and compete with CCP subsidised "efforts" which people without a thought for the future will buy because they're a few quid cheaper.

Super little van that 👍🏻

A wonder what the price would be in Europe ?

Looks like the front seats don't turn round. Always seems a waste of a great sitting space to me 🤔

There’s so much innovation in that, it goes to show what can be done in such a small space. I liked the overcab bed padding, it’s got to be better than my cold plastic that has zero insulation between it and the roof, bit like a padded cell 👍🏻

Plenty of really useful almost unique ideas for the Euro/UK van manufacturers to copy in that Deedle Chinese van, and its on an Iveco Chassis!
They have been copying everyone for years, so lets do the same.(y);)

Interesting little ‘van! (y)

The built in outside drop down table makes so much sense (to me).
All the vans we have had in Aussy have them,

Thule used to produce a table that you attached to the side of the van which we used all the time but sadly it was discontinued. Brilliantly useful but if kit

i know im watching this whilst cooking breakfast for the guests but where was the cooker? i saw the tap so presume the sink is under the worktop but the hob is where?

and the internal storage?

No fixed hob so you have to use a portable one and seems only really suited for site use. There's not a lot of storage either and the payload could be an issue with so many on board especially in countries with larger sized people. Odd good ideas but a lot have been seen previously on other vehicles.

It would feel a bit oppressive for me though.

If you turn the volume on when he's messing around with the pull out section near the door he explains you need an induction hob to sit on top.

Phew. I thought I’d just not seen it.

With air conditioning and electric cooking (and possibly the water heater being electrical) then it does look like a hefty suitcase generator or mains hook up would be needed (and as mentioned a trailer for 6 peoples “stuff “

Thanks

I wondered where it was too but watched (and skipped through) with the volume off so had to play 'hunt the hob' and just turned the volume on where I though it might be explained and it was.

I hate to think what the power draw would be if everything was being used at once!

You guys look a lot deeper into it than i do.
I just see some nice touches that could be incorporated into Euro vans.

The optional extra may very well improve matters for you! :whistle2:

I don't get this either. Total waste of space. And, with the recline and swivel of the front seats, they're so much more comfortable than the extra seats they squeee in in a dinette. Nope, not for me :)

Not sure I'd like to hang clothes for 6 people on a flimsy hanger in the shower!!

I thought the interior was awful, and with a full size domestic fridge/freezer, washing machine & electric cooking you would need to tow a generator. Also with a domestic washing machine how are you going to fit a big enough water tank in a van that size.

I believe he said it had 450 litre fresh water. That’s bugger than my A class which has 300

It’s an EHU vehicle only as it stands or a massive amount of lithium to keep it running

Ah, but this is China. They'll have a way of folding the water tank, full of water, into a teeny tiny pocket sized affair, that fits inside one of the many non-existant cupboards :p

How's your Chinese......

I noticed the lack of storage too. Like there doesn't seem to be any?

The lack of hob would be a downside for us too and the lack of an oven.

I had to laugh that they had thought of adding a hanging rail in the shower for drying clothes from the washing machine but where do you hang them when they are dry?

There are some interesting ideas but they seem to have forgotten than people take 'stuff' and clothes with them and there seems very little space to put anything like that.

I thought the position of the drop down table could be in a better place as it looks like anyone on the front side would be in the way of anyone coming or going into the van. Nice idea though.
