After riding her 690 when we were in the Algarve I sold the Duke 390 today, thank goodness we didn't lose any money on it. Long story short but Mrs bigtree was a bit unhappy when riding the 690 because she felt it a bit chuggy and gear dependent,so I bought her a 390 to see if she would prefer that. After only riding it for around 100 miles she then rode the 690 and decided she much preferred that, an inexpensive daliance. Now we need to book a test ride on the 790. ;)

Well we have both test rode the 790 and loved it,that was on Tuesday. We put a deposit down on one yesterday,it has been decided that Mrs bigtree is keeping her 690 and I’m selling my 990. The dealer had made a reasonable offer and giving us money off the 790. The test bike was given a good workout. ;)

I like the 790, gets good reviews, lightweight, 105 bhp but I can't justify it being £5k more than the 390.
The more I ride my 390 the more I like it. So easy to ride (y)
Apparently Honda are bringing a new CB650F out that's lighter... So I'll be watching developments there, and a much more sensible £6.5k :)

I’m still too young to be going down to a 390 ,the 790 is such an easy bike to ride, very similar to the 390 but much more grunt.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the 790 Adventure variant will be like in the flesh...

Seen one offered a test ride but sadly declined!!
Pretty clear that Andrea would no way fit on to the pillion butt pad .
