What on earth is the point of showing sold items in the classifieds? It just makes searching for items frustrating.
Make the ad disappear once marked as sold please!

It's also quite handy to see what price others have gone for ... I think you can use a filter to hide all the sold ones if you wish.

Every machine has that option, even the smallest screen has that filter You will have used it in the past to set it to see sold ads.

I'm sure it defaults to "open ads". Or at least it does on my mobile.

It defaults to open ads, if you’re seeing sold ads, you’ve changed the filter, just change it back to open.

I see where I was going wrong now.
I was going into classified ads then using the magnifying glass to search and selecting classifieds. The filter button doesn't appear on that page.
I found the other search box under filters.
