No, I'm no expert but I think it sets like concrete. You need stixall or that 512 stuff ...

Firstly is your roof painted? In that case it’s only as good as the bond between the paint and the metalwork of the roof. I wouldn’t. If it’s gelcoat then I’d use CT1 or appropriate Sikaflex.

As said the correct Sikaflex, Tiger seal or there’s one you can get from Tool Station but I forgot the name
