I have a solar panel to fit on my van. Can anyone recommend some form of waterproof cable access to fit on the roof please?

I bonded a small waterproof box down and used 2 waterproof stuffing glands. You can buy specially made glands on ebay but I didn't think they looked as good.

I just used 10mm glands with 6mm solar cable had to lube as was tight. Once the rubber is squeezed, you can pressure wash from any direction, no water ingress.

I used one of these.....comes with one m20 gland and has space for two more.

There was more surface area to apply sealant than on this type

You can get glands for twin solar cable entry too.....

I recommend that you order from Aliexpress, this will be the cheapest option. I have very similar ones for about 2 years. I took the cheapest option, I didn't want to overpay for a piece of plastic.

I am satisfied, as I spent around 6 euros (5 pounds) and no complaints were found. Unless the delivery was delayed and I had to wait 3 weeks instead of the two promised.

If you don't want to wait 2-3 weeks, then, of course, it is better to buy on eBay, but it will be more expensive there.
Also, you might find information about air conditioners for RV interesting. https://evapolar.com/blog/portable-ac-for-car-van-and-rv/
