Solar panel with EBL99

Hello guys,
Can I connect roof solar panel to leisure battery just via regulator? (my leisure battery has doubled positive and negative connectors) or I have to do it via EBL99?

I believe you can, but it won't register anything on the panel is how I understand it.

Mine are fitted without connection to the EBL. As stated before any control panel you may have will not indicate the correct power in/out if the EBL has no knowledge of the solar panel charge. There may also be a limit as to how much solar power the EBL can handle.

I changed from a LR1218 which was wired to the EBL99 to a Votronic duo 250 and I wired that straight to the battery terminals on the back of the EBL99

That's right, the solar fuse on the EBL 101 is 15A not sure about the EBL 99.

I have a ELB 99 on our Hymer...the rooftop panel goes to the battery via an Victron MPPT controller, this has Bluetooth connectivity.
I can see the state of charge via my phone app...
I have a second freestanding panel which has its own mppt controller connected to the battery..my ELB99 has no control over my solar set up.

As mentioned, the current limit is about 15A through the EBL. So if you've got more than about 175w, you pretty much have to bypass it and go straight to the battery anyway.
