Hi, I covered my Ducato motorhome with one of these waterproof protectors. However it covered the solar panel which trickle charged the van battery. Now battery is flat. Any ideas? Of course I should have disconnected battery first, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Why not jump start it and take it for a run to see what charge you put into it?

You could try charging it up .if you can't do it where the van is take the battery out and charge it at home. You may have wrecked it but you won't know until you try.
