I'm a newbie had a wobbly box when adam was a lad
swapping the PWM controller for an MPPT and am a bit stumped the wires to what I assume is the battery are very thin and a wire to one of the solar panel connections. I've fitted 100s of solar panels and always avoided factory fitted controllers etc and kept them separate so if there's a problem I knew the connection layout

My god, there's going to be some voltage drop on those - did the battery ever receive any charge? 😂

Solar looks normal but battery too thin but depending on amount of solar would work if battery was really close I guess.

Had a light bulb moment last night most swift vans come with a 100 watt controller so looking at the wiring I think a PO cut the connector off and wired to their controller
