Hi, my Bailey Autograph has the Solar control panel shown here (video attached). It doesn't seem to be keeping the hab battery charged very well. I noticed that one of the LEDs on the Controler is flashing. So I took a look at the manual and it says. A flashing LED shows the battery is fully charged. However, it also says a short flash means the battery is dead. A poor choice of signals in my mind. Does anyone know from experience if this is a short or a normal flash.

Good question!

I would say normal.... think short would be a lot slower..

The flashing one , H2, is for engine battery and this manual says flashing full charged

Normally #1 is your hab battery which is showing as charging and #2 is normally your cab battery which is showing as fully charged.
My questions would be are 1 and 2 wired the correct way around and what are the % splits of your solar from your solar charge controller to each of the batteries?
You can scroll through the battery voltages on your LCD readout to the right of your solar charge controller.
If your batteries are wired correctly then your hab battery is not taking a full charge and is likely not far off from being goosed.

Thank you. I saw that but found it odd that a fully charged battery and a dead battery both involved a flashing LED. 😊

The flash is the same rate as mine when battery is fully charged. Flashing well at the moment now the sun is finally shining 🌞 🌞🌞

Why not look on the display next to the controller, if you press the Next button it will cycle through and show how much charge is going into each battery

Thank you for confirming that. I suspected it was but wanted to be sure.
