Hey All,

I'm very new to motorhoming and this forum, so please forgive me if i sound like a total noob.

My sockets aren't working. I am connected to a mains hook up which is working fine for everything else. I should mention that the mains hook up is being provided by a lot of solar panels onsite.

Any help greatly appreciated... my laptop has died and i only have 33% left on my phone 😭

Check your main 240 fuse board, maybe inside a cupboard, should be inside next to where the 240V lead comes in.

Is the hook up one of those types where you have to twist the socket once you've pushed it in? It caught me out at Cromer CAMC site when I couldn't get any power to the van!

Hey Boringfrog,

I've had a look and all the switches are in the up position, so I'm guessing that's a good sign.

Heya,
Someone elsw plugged it in and of course i can go check but I'm guessing the fridge wouldn't be working either but that's working fine on the mains option.

Do you have an inverter as if so there maybe a changeover switch for the sockets.

Presumably now sorted as no more posts!

What a pity, when Simon Select could have given the answer. Perhaps he is on the road and not found a way to pay membership.
