Been moho’ing for a time now
just wanted to know who is insuring with who this year, best deals ?

Continued for the 5th year with Adrian Flux and even cheaper as now got some good NCD in its own rite rather than transferring from the car insurance.
Plus breakdown, legal and contents cover and now, 3rd party cover to drive other vehicles.
Well chuffed.

Not much choice only ERS will cover us, not a single other underwritter will consider us. We had a few happy years with NFU who were great and gave a great price. They get freaked out at any engine size above 4L in motorhomes and would not cover us when we moved to Liners and that was with a few cars, our house policy and our business policy with them and it was all because of the engine size :-(

NFU

no idea if it's the best deal, just a satisfied customer for many years..
the best deal is not necessity the best choice..

you only know if an insurer is 'good' or the best when you have a claim, which I did in 2008 in France with my 36ft USRV.. ..no quibble, paid out and no increase in premiums..

when you call, you speak to a person, no inane music, no pressing buttons, then waiting for 20 mins,. just a friendly agent.. if you change vehicle, no charge for changing.. and if the premium is less, thy give a pro-rata refund.. they also offer paying by DD over 12 months interest free ..

In France, we're staying with Allianz. No idea if it's the best but we have all our vehicles with them and have been very happy with their service when we had our breakdowns. Plus, they have English-speaking staff, which helps enormously in stressful situations! :)

Have you tried truck insurers, even another department within the same underwriter?

We are stuck with one underwriter as the only one in Poland which will insure RHD - premium is double that for LHD.
