So how do you protect your van

Not so long ago we pulled into a restaurant located on a main road just outside Donostias San Sebastian.
We took a table overseeing the car park and as we finished our breakfast we saw a very nice van pull in along side us. The owners were an English couple who came in as we were paying for our meal at the bar. They sat down as we left and the only vehicle in the car park was ours. That's how quick you can lose your van.

All of my overseas encounters with low-life have been in Spain so we tend to be very wary when travelling there. If the van isn’t on a campsite or busy aire, we try and keep it visible at all times. If we stop for coffee/lunch we’ll always try and find a situation where we can see the parked van. If there are any vehicles with obscured windows and Romanian plates in the car park we’re especially cautious.

Wheel clamp (Denver Boot), alarm/immobiliser, tracker, drivers seat lock. If they can get through that little lock, they're welcome to it.

Simple solution: Don't go to Spain?

Seriously, if my motorhoming made me that paranoid, I'd give it up

Don't even start to tell me how many flag poles and fairy lights
No don't do anything like that. i just want to keep what is mine & hopefully catch anyone attempting to even touch it.(y)
So over the top as to be paranoid.
My vehicles are up there with the wife ,daughter's & my dogs, untouchable by anyone.???

Anything makes me paranoid. i'm a pessimistic pessimist.:giggle:
