Going to France next week and then Holland in December.
Thought best get some snow chains.
Any suggestions?
Donor want to go over the top on something I might not use but want them to work and be easy to put on.

We got our snow chains from Roofbox.co.uk.

It didn’t seem worth spending a lot, as even though we regularly go skiing in the Alps we have very rarely need to use them.

We got Maggi ‘The ONE’ 16mm self tensioning chains. They are fine for occasional use, but are a very tight fit on the std Michelin Camper tyres. You will need to check and practice fitting them somewhere dry and warm. We prefer these to ‘loose’ ones - they can end up damaging the wheel as they overlap the rim too much.

Unfortunately they don’t seem to make quite the same model anymore. The ones below are similar but don’t have self tensioning. Even cheaper than ours though!

Bought some of these a couple of years ago. They are made of nylon and don't rust or rot. I bought them and chopped the straps down for 15" wheels and then changed MH. I rang them and asked if I could get some new straps and they sent me a set FOC. Great customer service. Also very easy to fit.
