Smart alternator recognition

How do i know whether or not i have a smart alternator on my Ducato Maxi chassis Autotrail Mohawk. 2'3 l 2016 reg. comfortmatic
Can i tell by looking at it, when I can find it !!!!!

Bit early for smart alternator but a Fiat Ducato dealer should be able to tell you , using the vin number.

Quick way is stick one of the usb cigar plugs in that shows voltage and if it gies up and down all the time while driving you know its supposed to be smart. Normal alternator will output steady volts untill battery is nearly full
