We’re out for the first night in the new to us MH (swift bolero 712sb) but there isn’t any flat surfaces in the lounge are unless yours sat next to the sink. The angle arm with round top ( we had one on the old MH) won’t really fit or will but we’d loose one of the captains chairs.

are there any that clap or fix to vertical surfaces? Has anyone made anything (I am handy) to suit a custom space!

TIA

We had a large dining room table and managed to buy a half sized one to allow my legs some breathing space. Purchased off Ebay and I remember the company did the connection to the sidewall.
A search on ebay for "motorhome table" may assist you

I moved the fold up table from the side of the kitchen to make a drinks table rather than four person formal dining table that was there before!

We use a couple of swivel arms with round cutting boards on top with an offset lazy Susan that enables the table top to swivel horizontally in all directions.
It can be folded down using the swivel leg attachments..
We use ours all the time now and dont use the free standing table. The swivels allow the tops to be swung out over the Front seats or the side benches. Very versatile.

Looking at this which is what yours is like I assume a small folding table between the seats should do the trick or even a folding camping stool/step, examples below. There are loads of folding tables, tray tables, stools to choose from also ideas to make your own.

Though expensiv, a Lagun table leg and you should be able to get a table top made, these would look very professional and in keeping with the van.

I got a couple of these. Good job, but not cheap. Available ebay/amazon etc.

One of the things about this sort of layout it caters for just what is being asked for Drinks and snacks are in reach, no additional table required unless outside. I guess it highlights that every MoHo has its limits and compromises the first image is the same as ours and wouldn't mind a interior as per the second.

Not a brilliant photo but these are the tables we use. They swivel in front of the front seats when they are turned around and out to the middle on the swivel arms. The swivel legs cost £150 and the tops were from IKEA at £10 each and lazy Susans underneath were around £8 each. We bought the legs from here

This is the option I went for :)
Possibly one of the most expensive solutions around, but probably one of the most versatile solutions available. It is worth the investment IMO.
I have mine mounted to the bench seat side behind the passenger seat and can use it in loads of different positions. Use it as a dinner table, desk for laptop, drinks & snacks, anything.

(interesting, Jimbohorlicks got legs from Chippy and tops from IKEA.... I got my Top from Chippy and Legs (Lagun Kit to be exact) from elsewhere).

If you only want a small 'shelf' type table each, what about mounting a bracket on the wood effect vertical panels on the cab side and the use a table top with a 'pole' in the corner to slot into the panel?

For the wall bracket I'm thinking along the lines of something like the ones shown bottom centre or centre left which are a wardrobe hanging rail bracket fixed to the panel and an end support like the ones centre top and bottom left on the underside of the 'shelf' in the corner with a piece of rail sticking out like a 'bolt', if done properly the table couldn't be accidentally moved if you tap it.

We have taken the very large table out and fitted Lagun leg and bought a table top from a kitchen fitter. Works a treat and you can just push it out of the way when moving around the van.

Initially we had the same issue and as a temporary measure bought a lap table (you know, with bean bags at the base) which would simply sit on the bench seat, quite sturdy and did the job but we fitted a lagun table in the end, unbelievably versatile!

My Autotrail came with the full-size free-standing table and its very own dedicated cupboard to live in.
The Lagun table I fitted is much more useful, but I do keep the free-standing one still as it is handy to use outside under the awning (and not sure what I would use the table cupboard for anyway if there wasn't a table in it! :) )

You just gotta love a Lagun table leg. Great bit of kit but a tad pricey

I think its worth it just for the amount of space you save but saying that the table in the Pilote didn't fold and was absolutely massive!

I think we paid £150 for the leg and £100 for the top. We also had to use a block of wood (dyed to match) so that the leg cleared the cushions but also made the whole thing very solid.

You could have a look at Rob and Lynn on tour;

about 12.30 mins into the Video. Mega expensive but could be what you are looking for.

Yes, I paid £159 for the leg, Chinese copies around £100 but I went for genuine.
The table top I had was modified by my step son.
It just gives great options and I’ve since bought an extra mounting bracket to give me even more options in that it’ll be fitted up front near the captains seats.
Couldn’t be bothered with a free standing table which was always in the way and a pain to store

Same as me but leg was only £120 and top was £60 :-)

that’s the one, the exact set up. we had the cranked leg in the old van, it did take up a lot of space when not needid.

I like the idea of the Lagun, with a matching top as it folds down and with another mount could be moved elsewhere

These telescopic stools also make good height -adjustable tables for a coffee mug / glass of G&T.

Make a good conversation starter too. Not managed to squeeze a musical note out of them yet though!

Increased in price considerably since we bought ours last year.
