After my super cheap 300/600 watt Toolstation inverter decided that 80 watts was to much for it to cope with and destroyed itself I'm looking for a replacement.
It doesn't need to be big as 80 watts would be it's biggest load, 40 watts once my fridge is repaired.
It doesn't necessarily need to be pure sine wave either as I've always found that modified sine wave inverters run TV's fine.
Any suggestions for brands to look at ?

Oh and due to the inverters location I need the outlet and on/off button to be on the front of the unit.

I would look for a pure sine wave inverter. The Toolstation one was probably a quasi sine wave and some types of equipment will not run properly on a quasi sine wave. I had a Serling inverter that packed up on me, I now have a Victron one, expensive but I trust it.

Yes the inverter was modified sine wave, but in the many years I've run a TV from a modified sine wave inverter, several different inverters over the years, I've never had a problem.
Some things don't like modified sine wave but I've found that TV's are not one of them.
Once my fridge is repaired the only thing the inverter will be used for is a 40 watt TV.

This looks like it will do the job, pure sine wave as well and Sunshine Solar are OK.

I have a 600w PSW sunshine solar inverter, which I use to recharge Bosch e-bike batteries. It's over capacity for what I need but is a great inverter. I also got the remote switch, which incorporates battery level and inverter load LED displays. Sunshine were good to deal with.
The 300w version would suit your needs.
