Hi, Do you guys have any ideas about what gas oven we can fit in our compact? The drawers we would be replacing are 445mm wide. The sink is above so cannot fit one with a hob.

We found the Spinflo Duplex at Jackson Leisure which would be ideal...

.....but they will not ship it to Northern Ireland! (I'm not sure how all the other ovens got here, maybe the 18 mile ferry trip from Scotland to Belfast is too hazardous these days).

If anyone can recommend a small oven or supplier we can try, that would be a big help as its proving quite difficult to search by size :)

I think that's the one that we have. One thing I'd say, is do not underestimate the heat input into a compact van.
Plus in ours, access is an issue, but that is obviously van dependent. We have to sit on the toilet seat in the loo, with the door open of course, in order to see what's in t'oven. Otherwise it's fine

Make sure it's well insulated and does not come into contact with any water pipes etc

Could you arrange for a carrier to collect from them?

I'm looking at that, but they said the Thetford Spinflo ovens 'are of a delicate nature' so I'd need to know how they are packed.

I think its likely that if we cannot get it locally or shipped from 'the mainland' we'll get it sent to friends who can prepare it for the arduous journey on to us :)

...thats a great innovation for the toilet seat, shames ours does not line up with with the door opening :)

I was concerned about the heat output from the chassis of the oven, thanks for confirming that its quite a bit. I'll be sure to put insulation measures in place to minimise that.
