WANTED Small Car (Smart) Trailer

Hi all

Does anyone have a small car trailer (suitable for a Smart) they were thinking of selling?

I believe the weight to carry is up to 1000Kg.

I have a Brian James Smart Car trailer sitting in my garage. I recently sold my motorhome and no longer need it. However, I see that Yarm is in Yorkshire and I live in Weston-super-Mare, so I doubt that you will be interested.

Am I right in thinking a Smart Car trailer has the wheels in a different place so as to balance out a rear-engined car. Using one for a front engined car would cause balance issues??

The original Brian James one does. It allows the car to be driven on forwards rather than reversed. If used for a front-engined car you would need to reverse onto it. Not much of a problem though as no front-engined car is small enough to fit.

I have one for sale here on classifieds i assume there's something about it that doesn't tick your boxes or you would have messaged me?
this is smart car specific it has the wheels further rearward so you can drive a smart on forwards. i also have four nearly new wheel ratchet straps to go with it.

I had read the advert yesterday but it's more than I'm wanted no to pay. There are a few on eBay so here's hoping.

The urgency has rescinded as the Smart I was looked no at was sold.
