Anyone managed to buy one online? The website won't let me choose a date less than 7 days from now. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong?

Are you on the official DARS site or a third party one? The 7 days issue might be something to do with distance selling from third party sites. The official DARS site is:

https://evinjeta.dars.si/en

I would think it’s because they can’t be sure to post it in time that it will be received, for the required dates.

I think it was just rubbish website design. Got one at a post office in the end.

I've had a quick look on the DARS site. The prices for vignettes are going up on 15 June - which coincides with 7 days from yesterday. Could that have something to do with it? There seem to be 2 sets of vignettes to choose from - one set with a red band dated up to 14 June, another set with a green band dated from 15 June.

We bought our 10 day one at a petrol station in Austria just before we crossed the border, very easy!

The vignettes are for vehicles not exceeding 3500Kgs. We have a wedding to go to in July/August but we are 5000Kgs. Where do we get what we need as nothing is mentioned on the vignette website!

We are now in Croatia, We transited Slovenia in less than an hour (from Trieste) but still had to buy a 7 day Vignette.

I tried to buy one in a petrol station, like you do for Austria, but as from the beginning of this year they are ANPR digital vignettes only, no stickers.

The Garage man gave me a useful leaflet about how to buy them, they need to be bough either in advance of arrival, or on the same day. You can not buy them in arrears.

I managed to buy one online using the phone, a bit of a process but I managed it.
Otherwise go on line here: https://evinjeta.dars.si/en
and they are obtainable.
For those with motorhome that could be 3.5t, I'd simply go with 2B classification, as they dont seem to check back with the DVLA.
For those that look substantially above 3.5t you will need to do some googling, or email EVINJETA@DARS.SI

After enquiring with Austria about online purchase they won’t issue for less than 14 days notice they said so that you cannot but the e one, use it, then claim the cost back under the online selling rules. Perhaps theirs is similar?

In Slovenia, you can buy e-vignettes online from the DARS website for use straightaway. Third party websites may require more notice due to distance selling regulations - I don't know, I've only ever bought them direct from DARS.

In Austria, I buy digital vignettes and section tolls at the first filling station that issues them.

I used to buy all my vignettes way in advance on the tollticket website, just tell them the dates and they send you the vignette to your home in the U.K. easy peasy and with no rip off costs👍

I got the impression from the Austrian toll authority what they suggested you do is buy electronically online direct and give any dates for start date so long as it was more than 14 days hence, then once the online selling ruies date had passed you can ammend the start date to reflect you true entry date. All sounded a bit if a fath to me do I thought I would just buy as I enter

Purchased an e-vignette a few weeks ago from the official online source. I recall it wasn’t 100% smooth, can’t remember the exact problem but a bit of perseverance with the website was required. I think you need to register first before applying and then specify a start date. Thereafter they’re quick to confirm the purchase and inform you when it’s due to expire.

Ah, but that requires route planning....
