Can anyone help. I have a Ten Haaft Oyster Twin LNB (ODB436) satellite dish system. How does one connect a sky box into (wiring wise) the black box and tele.
Wife cant watch football.

:Cool:There should be an LNB Out on the Black box. This should be connected with a suitable cable to the Sky Box. The Sky Box connects to the TV using a SCART cable or a UHF TV Aerial cable if the Sky box has one?

hi

there was a problem with the twin lnb system that when the sky box is powered it hinders the system when searching for the satellite so you need to make sure the sky box has no power until the satellite has finished its search, the other way is to connect the lnb from the dish into a switch box then once the satellite is up and locked switch the lnb feed into the sky box but remember to switch it back again or the satellite won't lock on next time it searches

The second LNB cable from the dish unit straight into "dish input" on the skybox.

Skybox connected to TV by RF, ensure a channel is tuned in on TV.

When the dish is sent up to Astra 2, and locks on sky channels will come through.

There should be no conflict between the Oyster and the skybox, if there is, then there is either a fault or it is not connected correctly.
