Morning all, Happy new Year.

I take delivery of my first MH this week and looking for advise on what sites / Apps to use when planning any trips away. I will mainly be using it in the UK but hopefully venture into Europe later in the year.

If you subscribe to these websites and download their databases then you do not use your data allowances but the off-line version and GPS for directions.

Of course the download will be up-to-date only at time of downloading, whereas the live version may be more recent.

We use the free live version and it does not damage our data allowance much.

Lots of votes for 'search for sites' here but, having used both, I find Park4night more useful. Certainly prefer the functionality of the app. search for sites tends to be more 'official' camp sites where as Park4night has more 'offgrid'

Don't forget google maps itself is quite useful. Go to an area and type in camp sites - or in Germany Wohnmobil Stellplatz , Aires in france (aire de camping), area de servicios para autocaravanas in Spain, or Aree di Sosta in Italy etc etc

As above
I prefer Park4Night as i have found it the most reliable and prefer being 'Off Grid'
You need to pay 10euros for the full version and have access to all the members recommendations and filter.

Also consider a scheme like Britstops especially if you like food and drink. We use that a lot even for just local jaunts and have had many memorable evenings.

Search for Sites, Park4night. Used to use CamperContact a lot but it seems to have taken a back seat these days plus the desktop version is pretty lousy, in my opinion.

Ventusky is very good for weather, world wide. We use it a lot in Europe and have found it very accurate.
