Mrs KRO may need surgery later this year at London Bridge and could be in for 5-7 days. Thinking of going in MH but :
1. Nearest site = Crystal Palace?
2. Could I drive and park near London Bridge

Is your van suitable for the clean air zones / congestion charges etc in London.?

Go to Abbey Wood and get the train from there to London Bridge. There is no way you can park a Motorhome anywhere near London Bridge. It's hard enough getting a car parking space. As well as having to pay the congestion charge daily.

I live about 3 miles from Abbey Wood CAMC site. Direct trains to London Bridge every10 minutes or so just a 5- 7 minute walk from the campsite to the Station of the same name.. Book ot asap though as it is a year round site popular with tourists

As for London Bridge, as other Londoners have said, not a hope in hell of parking within walking distance of London Bridge.
If you could find a place you would be paying by the hour with a limit of a few hours.

However a browse through this site may find somewhere suitable, if you go out a bit, the figures are not silly (by London standards) you could then be within 15-20 mins on a bus (or cycle)

You could also check out Park4Night there are a few places within a train or bus ride.

If you want to save money etc, then it's possible to park in some places for free just on the inside of the south circular and cycle or bus or train in, but be aware almost all of London inside the North/South circular is in a CPZ where you need a residents permit or you pay by the hour

But your best bet is Abby Wood and simply catch the train.

London Bridge has a very large public transport hub which services most of South London and much of Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. Railway, Tube and buses all link there.

But there will be a snowballs chance in hell of you parking a motorhome near it. And you will have spent double or treble time driving to get in there compared with using public transport and will still have to pay the congestion charge and the parking cost.

Just find a site near a train or tube station in South London or Kent, Surrey or Sussex with a train or tube line that goes direct to London Bridge Station.
