On the way to the tunnel next day or so and fancied a stop half way around Silverstone and maybe have a nosey at the track.

Seems no camp sites close by that are anything like open when there are no events on.looked on searchforsite and parkfornight camc

Does anyone have any recommendations please.

It's a bit further along but Barnstones at Great Bourton near Banbury is a cheap option

You can park on my drive in Milton Keynes. I'm not there and it's on a bit of a slope but other than that you are welcome.

Maybe call Silverstone and see if you can stay there....must be loads of parking and possibly water and grey waste. Worth a shot??

Thanks everyone some good suggestions. My search was obviously flawed :giggle:
wolfie2 yep looked at that but it's only on at event dates I'm afraid.
VXman that's really good of you thanks I appreciate that...just want this forum is all about.(y)
But now decided to bite the bullet stay at the hotel trackside and stick the van there for the night.
But will defo use one on the way back up. Quite fancy the Stratton arms.

Thanks all.

We were there last night, 6 vans in the car park as the field entrance was too wet, good food and really helpful landlord.
