My daughter is working at the F1 she is staying with us we need a site close to the track but not so close that it's £450 as the official one is.

Presumably in your caravan? Makes a difference as to where people can suggest.
Wherever you find, travel in for her will be tricky due to queues on roads.

Anything in the area will be difficult. If you are not interested in the F1, an option could be to volunteer to work on one of the sites. The schools in the village turn their properties into car parks etc. and need staffing in the same way the big sites do. Just a thought.

Won't her employer find her accommodation ?
Getting in and out of the track site is a recognized nightmare so they must have provision for staff surely ?

We normally use New Rookery Farm £250 without electricity. It’s a 10 min walk to circuit.

She does it most years and has tried a variety of accommodation off site, this year she is thinking of using the official campsite, she would get staff rates but it's not suitable for us because of our dogs so were looking at something as close as we can but not hugely expensive

Camp about 10 miles away and hire a small car to drive to circuit each day.

Cant help you there weve always had hotel or air b&b but the campsite looks very good are dogs not allowed on campsite as well as the course? I worked last year , but not this year

I camp at Whittlebury on the golf course... Chances of there being any space is VERY slim..

I found a CS about 5 miles away, it's £42 a night for 3 of us and an extra car. I think it's the most I have ever paid for a site, but it's worth it for the location.
