Sight of Corfe Castle.

Does anyone know of a site, cs/cl that has a direct unrestricted view of Corfe Castle?

https://corfecastledorsetcamping.co.uk/ is by far the nearest but from memory trees do obstruct the view from parts of the site

The CCC used to have one very near too it but as I've never stayed I'm not sure if it has unrestricted views?

When I visited the castle, I stayed on a THS run by the CCC local association. The cow field (lots of dung) was associated with the Norden Farm campsite, which was the other side of the main road.
It was a shortish walk to the castle and I really enjoyed visiting, as there was lots going on when I visited in mid summer.
Regards having a view I can't remember, but as it is elevated, it was probably in the background all the time.
I remember the village being a bit of a tourist trap, the CCC campsite no longer appears on their website, so might be retired

Thank you for your replies. I know that Norden farm ceased being a CCC site last year but that doesn't rule it out for me.

Look on the rallies page, Wombles is running a meet at Norden Farm this year again.

Norden Farm is a great Campsite but it doesn’t have unrestricted views of the Castle. It’s only a 15 minute walk though, maybe 20 if you stroll!

Do you reckon they delivered all the building materials for the castle by train?

The CCC does not have direct views but a short walk up the hill brings you to a path that leads to Corfe. From there, stunning views of the castle and often sight of the steam locos.
