I need to reseal the shower tray. Is it best to use Sikaflex 522 or just a simple bathroom silicon sealer?
Also the dealer is going to repair, under warranty, a small crack near the drain hole. They are proposing to coat the whole tray with a product called Innotec. Does anyone have any knowledge of this product?

I used CT1 to redo my vans shower wall seals which were starting to split.

Standard bathroom sealants may not have the stretch when set to allow some of the slight flexing that can occur in your vehicle. CT1 says it can move a lot plus is mould resistant. The Sikaflex 522 types could be too strong being more an adhesive rather than sealant.

I’d be getting the tray painted/repaired/fixed before sealing it. If you use silicone or similar paints/treatments won’t stick to it.

Last van had a crack near the one of the shower drains - Whole tray was done by a company using a product called 'Speedcoat' result was very good and no issues -

If its cracking now it probably going to crack more or again after fix

Speedboat normally take thr old tray out, make sure it's supported properly and then refit and cover in speedcoat

Think thay also give a lifetime guarantee to the owner of the vehicle when it's done
