should my domestic battery be charging when on EHU,

My domestic battery is not charging when on EHU, I have a roof cover while its on the drive so I guess that makes my solar panel ineffective also last year my interior lights would go dim even on EHU, could this mean a new battery or is there an electrical fault. Many thanks.

When on ehu most batteries charge. Check the voltage at the battery terminals with a multimeter both on charge and off charge. That will help with diagnosis.

Yes your hab batteries should be charging, if they require it, whilst on EHU. If not you need to find out why.

No EHU to charger?
or no power coming out of charger.

Have you checked that the charger 240v MCB on the PDU has not tripped .

It would help to get more information / advice if you provided details of the system you have. Control panel / system name, charger name, Motorhome make….
