I'm a newbie (ISH) 2022( type 2 VW's and caravans 1980 s to 2022)s
Omg I am horrified by the amount of stuff we have taken out of our motorhome just 6.5 m (coachbuilt) so not large . I had been praising myself before we started on how much l had cut down on from the large caravan . We are getting a smaller camper; an auto sleeper symbol so that should stop : "we best take this just in case" Pam

;) We had a 7.5m -now we’ve a sub-5m Firefly……it’s been ‘challenging’, to say the least!!!

Were you just very strict on what you pack ? And creative on your packing method's. I suppose I have been used to packing for a family of 6 now it's just two and one Lancashire Heeler as we have just lost our other Heeler boy (17yrs) .l managed to survive in a type two Vw with 6 of us and they were small babies/children so l should be able to sort this.

I hope I am never forced (C1 medical fail?) to have to downsize from 7m. I am coming up for my Polish C1 medical later this year. If I pass it lasts for 5 years which will be a relief.

If our 22 yo Arto started to play up and I still have my C1 I would be tempted to go slightly bigger (8-8.5), but might be held in check by the iniquitous 18.6% Excise tax in Poland.
