Hi everybody,

Just to let you know about the end of season firework display on shell island (Wales),
I will be going, and have been there twice so far this year, cheap rates & all amenities.

I will be displaying the MH Fun signe in the windscreen, so if any other funsters are there knock & say hi, & we'll have a beer & a chat.

Happy travels.

Tintin.

Does anyone have a link to the campsite where this shindig will be taking place?
Cheers

Thanks Chris.

Looks like a lovely place and prices good. Bit far for us to travel from Southampton i have Friday off but the mrs will not be home from work till six. About a 5.5 hour drive for us. Shame

When I have been at Shell Island I have often found nice big puff balls, the edible kind. But you have to be up early as every one else knows about them. Sliced and cooked in butter and garlic, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Doug...

The link given to the campsite says it's only for tents - not caravans - do you think it means motorhomes too? The prices didn't seem too good either to us.

no caravans allowed mh are as its your transport prices around 6 pound pp per night i think

Motorhomes are most certainly allowed, as I have been in mine.

The tariff I paid was £6.00 per night & £7.00 per night high season,
hope to meet any funsters that come, but it is a big site, so could easily miss one and other.
Just google Shell Island & it will come up, thats how I found it.

Happy travels :thumb:
