Shelf removal

Hi does anyone know how to take the shelf out in a pilote 740 the one above the fridge as we want to put a microwave there , have removed the 4 screws but it still won't come out .

I've done similar on a Rapido and installed a microwave. It was tge vertical oartition with the tv bracket mounted on it.

Usually some screws hidden by wood grain stickers then a good heave. Sometimes it ther things may be attached on the other side

On the Pilote, the shelf above the fridge has two dowels on each side approx 100mm from each edge.

I used a fine cut saw to cut through the dowels after protecting the cupboard sides with a few layers of wide masking tape.

hi I did have to technically brake the shelf out but as sabo says it would be better to use a fine tooth hacksaw , I didn't put the shelf back in over the microwave as I wanted to be able to remove it as and when needed hope this helps.
