Shallow microwave?

I am finding it very difficult to source a microwave that is not very deep, front to back.

Say for example I search on 'caravan microwave' I get a hit that leads to a microwave with dimensions 32.4L x 44W x 25.8H.

My cupboard depth is just under 30 cm, so 32.4 (what they call length in this example) is too big.

The hinges have springs inside to hold the door up when it's open. Since there seems to be spare space at the sides, you could replace the hinges with standard ones, and add an air spring to hold it open. That's a bit tricky to get the geometry just right.

Or something like this, that is nearer the sides.

You also need an air gap all around, a lot have vents on the rear I know our one at home gets very hot at the back. So you really need at least 25mm free air behind it.
