OK peeps with Honda SH 125, how long does the battery last parked up, just come back to my new one and after 3 weeks 2 volts and it won't start for some reason:LOL:

Any bike battery should be good for at least 3-4 weeks so that flat in 3 weeks isn't right.

How old is it?

A few months, and I didn't think it was right so I asked.

Back to the dealer then. They'll try and wriggle out of it because it's a battery so be prepared to argue.

When I first got my PCX 125 I had the cut of at idle switched on and it only lasted 2 weeks of normal use, I went to Honda dealer for new battery and they said don't use the idle as it drains the battery, never been a problem since.

Not sure if yours has this Martin

Just got a new Honda SH 125 and the battery lasted 2 days, charged it same again back to dealer and they replaced it under warranty, however, it now seems if I don't use the Scooter for a period I'm going to have to ensure the Battery is charged? That can't be right a Scooter doesn't have a management system draining it when it's off its off, doesn't it?

I'm sure Guy Martin or John Mcguinness would test your Honda  ;)

I used to sponsor Dennis Hobbs in BSB and over the years he shared a garage with Guy Martin and was in the Padgetts team riding 600 with John Mcguinness (and beating him on the roundy roundy races.

Actually thinking about it they might prefer it to their race bikes;)

I got the Honda from the "Mighty Padgetts" the Old Man is still wandering around the place although Batley has seen some changes.
