Just every two years as per Fiat schedule, no problem with modern oils.

Ta. I wondered because I've read that some garages aren't keen on working on 'A' class m/home's mechanical bits due to restricted access so they add 'hassle' price supplements (or won't quote at all).

Hi. I made lots of calls re service and cambelt replacement to garages in the manchester/bolton area and further afield a couple of weeks ago following recommendations from members on here and a few I found myself. I will dig out my notes tomorrow and let you know what the costs were like- might save you some time ringing round. The one I do remember off the top of my head is from a local fiat professional garage- motorsave @swinton. They quoted £600 for the service!

Crikey the prices quoted on here, paid £270 for a major service including oil & oil filter, pollen filter, diesel filter, air filter at my local indie.
Heck - paid £360 for cambelt, water pump and both aux belts.

Do you have the Comfortmatic gearbox and if so, does this 'major service' include the fluid change and kiss point alignment thing?
I just paid £700 for a two year service, through Adams Morey in Portsmouth. Few other places include the fluid change as part of the service. It seems to be a main dealer job, only.

I did ring up a more local Fiat commercial place and after confirming that they do it, asked them how much. Their reply. "Oh I couldn't tell you. We haven't done one yet."

Back to Portsmouth in two years, it is then.

Just a quick comment. I got a quote from Adams More, it includes VAT.
Do the prices others have quoted include VAT? 20% not a small sum.

I paid £699 for the first (two year) service a few months ago. (Fiat Professional Garage)
Motorhome has to go back to them next week to have the aircon fixed (leaking pipe) and two alloy wheels replaced (worms).
At least this is being done under warranty.

I use Swale MOT Centre in Sittingbourne ( used to be called R Burgess) for our A Class. They are Fiat Professional. Always a good service.
As it is 5 years old, the cam belt is due a change…£719.00!

Booked in for that and MOT in 2 weeks.
